Compliance Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This is a general template and does not constitute legal advice. Please have this reviewed by a licensed attorney before relying on it.

This Compliance Policy summarizes the legal and regulatory framework MVAResolve requires of everyone using the platform, and serves as an index to the full policy library below. Where a conflict exists, the more specific policy controls.

Why Compliance Matters Here

Because MVAResolve sits between claimants, referral partners, and licensed law firms, a single non-compliant submission — an unverifiable consent record, an undisclosed incentive, an unlicensed advertising claim — can create liability for everyone downstream of it. This policy exists to keep that risk out of the marketplace before a case is ever assigned.

Regulatory Scope

Because this platform operates in the personal injury referral space, participants must comply with, at minimum: the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), state consumer privacy laws (CCPA and similar), state bar rules on attorney advertising and referral fees, CAN-SPAM and state anti-spam statutes, and state do-not-call/telemarketing registration laws where applicable.

Core Obligations

  • Obtain and document valid consent before any outbound contact resulting from a referral.
  • Ensure the intake form is completed and submitted by the accident victim themself; if a referral partner completes it manually on the victim's behalf, an independent TrustedForm or Jornaya certificate proving the victim's own separate consent must accompany the submission (see Lead Quality Standards). Submissions without it are disqualified and the partner account is flagged for quality review.
  • Submit only genuine, non-duplicated, non-incentivized cases (see Lead Quality Standards).
  • Maintain accurate records supporting consent and case origin.
  • Cooperate with any compliance audit under the applicable partner agreement.
  • Advertise and market only in a manner consistent with the Advertising Guidelines.
  • Promptly report suspected fraud or compliance violations to contact@mvaresolve.com.

Recordkeeping

MVAResolve retains consent records, intake notes, and case status history for each submitted case for as long as reasonably necessary to support compliance review, dispute resolution, and any applicable statute of limitations, consistent with the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Audits

MVAResolve may periodically audit a referral partner's or law firm's compliance with the applicable agreement, including requesting sample consent records or advertising materials. Participants agree to cooperate with reasonable audit requests as a condition of continued participation.

Reporting a Concern

Anyone — claimant, referral partner, law firm, or member of the public — may report a suspected compliance issue to contact@mvaresolve.com. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent permitted by law, and we do not tolerate retaliation against a good-faith reporter.
