Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This is a general template and does not constitute legal advice. Please have this reviewed by a licensed attorney before relying on it.

This Privacy Policy explains how MVAResolve collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit this site, submit a motor vehicle accident (MVA) case, or use the referral partner or law firm portals. By using this site or submitting a case, you agree to the practices described below.

Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to prospective claimants who submit case information (directly or through a referral partner), registered referral partners, registered law firm users, and general site visitors. It does not apply to any partner law firm's own website, intake systems, or client records once a claimant becomes that firm's client — those are governed by the firm's own privacy practices and professional obligations.

Information We Collect

When you submit a case through this site, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, date of birth where requested, and details about your accident, injuries, treatment, and insurance. We also automatically collect your IP address, browser/device information, referring page, and the date/time of submission, which we retain as part of our TCPA consent and fraud-prevention record for that submission.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember basic preferences, measure which pages and campaigns lead to submitted cases, and detect fraudulent or duplicate submissions. These technologies do not access information stored on your device beyond what is necessary for these purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to evaluate your case against our Lead Quality Standards, contact you about your potential claim, and — where you have consented under our TCPA Consent Disclosure — connect you with partner law firms and legal marketing partners who may also contact you. We also use submission data internally to monitor referral partner quality, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance records.

Sharing of Information

We share submitted case information with the qualification partners and affiliated law firms involved in evaluating and pursuing your potential legal claim, and with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, case-delivery, and communications infrastructure) under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MVAResolve, our partners, or others.

Data Retention

We retain submitted case information, and the associated consent record, for as long as reasonably necessary to service the claim, satisfy our compliance and recordkeeping obligations, and resolve any dispute or chargeback, after which it is deleted or de-identified in the ordinary course, except where longer retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor's information has been submitted to us, contact us using the details below so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Your Choices

  • You may reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS communications, or reply HELP for assistance.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or removal of your information by contacting us using the details below.
  • California and certain other state residents have additional rights described in our CCPA / State Privacy Notice and Do Not Sell or Share Notice.
  • Opting out of communications may affect our ability to process your case or connect you with a law firm.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you submit, including encrypted transmission, access-controlled storage, and role-based access limiting who inside MVAResolve and among our partners can view a given case. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be reflected on this page.
